Meditation has a proven effect against Depression!

WStudies carried out at American university show that, “Mindfulness Meditation” can help improve the symptoms of Anxiety and Depression. Improvement can be seen if practiced for 30-40 minutes daily.

Mediation is also known to have a positive effect on disruptive teenagers, one secondary school in  San Francisco America has adopted ‘Quiet Time’ which twice a day a gong sounds and those disruptive teenagers sit still shut their eyes and clear their minds. A school which was known as one of the roughest schools now has the number of school suspensions fallen by 45 % and daily attendance rates increase to 98% this if evidence enough of the benefits of still  and clearing one’s mind once a day.
